This mystical Seaside home and area are virtually steeped in tradition, history and tidal beauty. It is hard to know where to start with a description of this property. At the bottom of the page you will find a history of this Bay of  Fundy village, perhaps one of the most interesting tidbits is that of being the birthplace of the  mysterious ship The Mary Celeste. The home is of late 1800 vintage and you will be enveloped in the charms and furnishings of that era when you enter. This comes furnished so you can move right in and become part of history as it welcomes you with it's 4 well sized bedrooms, huge eat in kitchen with  well presented cabinetry, and formal dining room. The huge living room boasts panoramic views of the Minas Basin, The Cape Blomidon. Spencer's Island, the light house and all the way up the shores , while peaking at other coastline scenes as your eye travels along its way. My favourite spot is sitting on the front verandah . You get a 180 degree view up and down the bay. It is sitting up on a hill so you have an overview that is open and stunning. At various times you will thrill to sea birds. ships, fishing boats and other sea going beings as they travel on their way. Walk the beaches and search for sea treasures. Visit the nearby lighthouse , fish, swim or just sit and smell the salt air and listen the waves as they travel in and out on their twice daily journey. The worlds highest tides wash these shores  and are certain to tickle every one of your senses.

If you can bear to tear yourself away for a side trip, the Chignecto Wilderness Hiking trails are in the next community of Advocate  five minutes drive away. Along with gas for your car, you will also find farmers market, a post office, library, schools, medical,  Food, and even a small NSLC agency store for you to pick up some wine to go with the lobster and scallops you may have bought from the fishermen off the wharf there. Twenty minutes and you can be on the famous Cape Dor where you can climb down the hill to the cafe for some delicious chowder and watch the Dory Rips as they tear up the surf. Pick some huge wild blackberries in late fall.

Whether year round or seasonal , this is the perfect sized vintage home in a most spectacular spot!
